Administrative judiciary oversight of the work of the judiciary
Abstract
Based on the importance of the principle of separation of legislative, judicial and executive powers within the modern state, the judiciary in Libya has gone through several stages. The prevailing rule in each stage had a direct impact on the issuance and amendment of successive judicial laws, starting from 1953 to the present day. A large group of laws related to the judicial system and amendments to these laws were issued. The judiciary, as a safety valve for the state and the citizen, tried to distance itself from the political division that has occurred in the country since 2014, when the legislative and executive authorities were divided, while the judiciary remained cohesive and unified throughout the country.
