The role of modern technologies in criminal proof
Abstract
There is no doubt that the world has changed as a result of the tremendous scientific progress that countries are witnessing. There are those who exploit this development in order to benefit themselves or their society. On the other hand, there are those who use it in their crimes, which makes it easier for them to commit them and hide their features and the resulting evidence in order to escape the grip of justice. This makes it difficult for the investigating authorities to trace him and trace the crime to him.
On the other hand, this development is not limited to the perpetrators of crimes only, but the investigative authorities may also resort to it when any crime occurs, especially serious and organized crimes. Thus, this method has become a necessary procedure, even if there are some doubts about its legitimacy, and the extent of its strength as proof that it can be used as evidence. It has the authority of the adjudicated ruling, and the extent of the judge’s comfort and reassurance with it, and ensuring that the investigating authorities, when they are in the process of using it to uncover the truth, have not broken a secret, or exposed a secret that affects the dignity of individuals and the preservation of their freedoms and private lives.
